TEACHING FROM THE FRONT LINE
I am a primary school teacher, author, education consultant, and content creator with across a range of settings. I currently teach a mixed Year 3/4 class at Tottington Primary School in Bury, having previously taught in both Reception and Year 6.
Alongside my classroom role, I work with schools, organisations, and EdTech companies across the UK and internationally, supporting creative, inclusive, and effective teaching. I have presented at leading education events including BETT and SETT (Oslo), as well as delivering training and keynote sessions for teachers around the world.
I am a published children’s author and have worked with organisations such as the BBC on projects including the 500 Words writing competition, alongside collaborating with a range of education brands to develop meaningful, classroom-focused resources.
I was proud to be named Manchester Evening News Inspirational Teacher of the Year in 2018 and received the Curriculum Improvement Award in 2021.
Known online as “Mr Hunt from the Front”, I share engaging, practical, and creative teaching ideas with a large global audience. My content focuses on making learning exciting, accessible, and inclusive, while giving teachers ideas they can use immediately in their own classrooms.
