TEACHING FROM THE FRONT LINE

I am a primary school teacher, children’s author, education consultant, and content creator with over 17 years’ experience across a range of primary school settings. I currently teach a mixed Year 3/4 class at Tottington Primary School in Bury, having previously taught in both Reception and Year 6.

Alongside my classroom role, I work with schools, organisations, publishers, and EdTech companies across the UK and internationally, supporting creative, inclusive, and effective teaching. My work focuses on bringing real classroom experience into training, resources, events, and educational projects that have a meaningful impact on teachers and children.

I have presented at leading education events including BETT London and SETT in Oslo, as well as delivering training, keynote sessions, and workshops for teachers in the UK and beyond. I have worked with a range of well-known organisations and education brands, including the BBC, Kahoot!, ViewSonic, HP, Adobe, Canva, and others, helping to develop and share practical, classroom-focused ideas.

I am also a published children’s author and have supported the BBC 500 Words writing competition for several years as an education consultant, helping to inspire children’s creativity and love of writing.

I was proud to be named Manchester Evening News Inspirational Teacher of the Year in 2018 and received the Curriculum Improvement Award in 2021.

Known online as “Mr Hunt from the Front”, I share engaging, practical, and creative teaching ideas with a large online community of teachers, schools, parents, and education professionals. My content focuses on making learning exciting, accessible, and inclusive, while giving teachers ideas they can use straight away in their own classrooms.
